Values and Vision
The school motto is “Enjoy and Excel”. It is academically ambitious, aiming to ensure that its students have personally and socially fulfilling lives.
Friern Barnet believes that a strong grounding in the arts, notably art, music, dance, theatre and culture, can enhance students' learning, making sure that each child is challenged and rewarded in equal measure. The school is about more than just about academic achievement: students are taught to become responsible citizens as much as they are encouraged to be independent learners.
