The successful candidate will lead and develop the Computer Science department and will have proven success of teaching the subject at both KS3 and KS4, as well as leadership and management experience within an academic department with proven impact.

In January 2014, a bid from Maiden Erlegh Trust to the Department for Education to open a new school in the East Reading area was successful. The central proposition of the bid was to open a new school that shared the ethos, culture and values of the well-established Maiden Erlegh School in Earley, Reading, Berkshire.
We proudly opened Maiden Erlegh School in Reading to its first Year 7 students in September 2015.
