Middleton Technology School is looking to appoint a Curriculum Tutor for PE/Student Medical Needs Coordinator. This is a new role to commence as soon as possible.
The purpose and objectives of the role are:
1. To assist and support the PE department with administrative tasks and everyday maintenance of the PE facilities.
2. To independently tutor and supervise individuals and groups of children in order to accelerate their progress and learning in PE. Working in close liaison with teaching and/or senior staff to plan and deliver accelerated tutoring.
3. To be the lead practitioner for the Academy’s medical needs and first aid requirements.
4. To co-ordinate the operation of the first aid provision within the academy and take the lead role in communicative disease management responses ensuring that students and staff have access to assessment and first aid treatment and that procedures are followed in accordance with industry guidelines.
