About the role

Are you passionate about the beauty industry and helping students achieve their educational goals? Join our team at the London College of Beauty Therapy as a Customer Service Advisor!

Working within the Marketing and Sales team, the role of the Customer Service Advisor is to market the divisions within the group, predominantly the London College of Beauty Therapy. You will support to attract and retain new students from application through to enrolment.

You will liaise closely with the Registry department at interception points and support at open day and events. You will need an understanding of the beauty industry and courses we offer to enable you to provide comprehensive advice and customer service support to applicants.

You will be responsible for the front of house of the college, and it is a key requirement of this role that all communication is dealt with effectively, efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner at all times


About you

  • You will need to be proficient in Excel and the updating and the management of databases.
  • You will have minimum of a Grade C/4 in English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent) and a Beauty and/or Makeup qualification and/or knowledge.
  • You will have knowledge of and prior experience of working in Further Education/college environments.
  • Previous experience of working in a very busy customer services role is essential.
  • You will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
  • You will have excellent communication, written and numerical skills.
  • You will have strong sales ability and eagerness and dedication to meet targets and deadlines.
  • You will be self-motivated and committed to own personal development.
  • You will have a positive outlook and be a natural collaborator and team player.
