We are seeking to recruit an experienced Deputy Estates Manager to support and deputise for the Estates Manager by playing a key role in the day-to-day running of the Estates Department, delivering effective and efficient maintenance, servicing and improvement project operations to the school site, along with the upkeep of the school swimming pool, to ensure a safe, clean, comfortable and compliant environment for all staff, pupils and visitors. Previous experience in a premises maintenance or facilities management role, preferably in a school, education or leisure establishment is highly desirable.

This is a full-time, year-round role with working hours of 40 hours per week over 5 days a week Monday to Friday, exact hours to be discussed and agreed with the Estates Manager to meet the needs of the school (typically between 7 am and 7pm). The role requires flexibility to work some evenings and weekends for key school events and on-call/call out duties on a rota basis.
