Queen Elizabeth’s Girls’ School seeks to appoint a talented and inspirational professional to lead it’s successful Music Department from January 2025.

You will be passionate about your subject and able to communicate your passion and confidence to our students. You will be focused on the attainment of all students and have proven success at teaching across all abilities. You will be able to demonstrate outstanding classroom practice. A contribution to the wider School life, both pastoral and extra-curricular activities is expected.

The successful candidate will be:

·        Highly motivated, enthusiastic and bring their own unique skills to the department

·        Experienced in teaching Music across the key stages and managing a team of peripatetic music teachers

·        Adept at playing several instruments and promoting the Music subject.

QEGS is a high achieving, oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive converter academy. The school is The North London hub for the National SCITT for training Maths and Physics teachers. As a training hub, we offer excellent CPD opportunities for our own staff, in-house, through external partnership and national programmes.
