Endeavour Learning Trust is looking to appoint a dynamic and inclusive individual to join our central team in the role of Director of SEND,

overseeing provision for children from nursery through to post-16 and supporting children with a diverse range of needs, representing an

exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their skill set.

As our Director of SEND you will:

• Be a champion for inclusive provision across the Trust, supporting the professional development of our colleagues to ensure that

they are equipped to meet the needs of all children.

• Work collaboratively with School and Trust Leaders, SENCOs, teachers, parents, and other professionals to create an inclusive and

supportive environment for all children through tailored strategies promoting academic and pastoral success.

• Promote diversity and celebrate people's differences and uniqueness to support the trust in ensuring that every child has a sense

of belonging and feels valued as a member of our community.

• Lead the development of the Trust’s in-house SEND support service, initially through the development of in-house educational

psychology provision but also by exploring further opportunities to build in-house capacity.

The successful applicant will be a positive, dynamic and highly motivated individual with personal drive. You will be a self-starter, who can

work with minimal supervision; proactive, with the ability to see what needs to be done and to prioritise work accordingly. You will have

excellent interpersonal skills and communicate effectively with all members of our Trust community.

ROLE DETAILS

This position is full time and permanent, subject to the provisions of the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document.

This role will be based in our brand-new office space in Buckshaw Village as well as within schools, but with some opportunity to work from

home.

Regular travel between locations will be a requirement of this role. Mileage will be reimbursed as appropriate.
