This is an exciting opportunity to join Education in Motion (EiM) as Director of Student Futures. EiM is a growing international schools group that aspires to be the global leader in pioneering education for a sustainable future. With a learning community of more than 11,000 students, EiM can scale learnings, opportunities and resources across its family of schools, enabling it to be at the cutting edge of education innovation.

The Director of Student Futures is a transformative senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing a group-wide, comprehensive strategic emphasis on future-focussed student pathways through outstanding, personalised university counselling and world-class tertiary partnership opportunities. The role will ensure the continuing development of the Worldwise Alumni Network, building lasting connections with alumni and universities to foster global networking opportunities. The post-holder will be responsible for pioneering the implementation of a student futures strategy that includes comprehensive student pathways mentoring, university counselling, careers coaching, and experiential opportunities to develop and validate career skills.

Reporting to the Chief Education Officer and working closely with Group Directors, Heads and senior leaders across the family of schools, the Director of Student Futures will contribute to the EiM culture of collaboration across the group. The successful candidate will evidence a track record of experience in the provision of world-class university and college counselling, educational innovation, tertiary and industry partnership development, and show confidence in navigating EiM’s digital transformation of student provision. Additionally, experience of alumni relations and a background in leading the implementation of a change agenda in educational environments would be expected. Therefore, a candidate with exceptional cultural intelligence, adaptability, communication skills, and an extensive international network would be desirable for this role.

The Director of Student Futures will be based in Shanghai or Singapore and must be able to commit to frequent international travel as required.
