We are seeking an enthusiastic, talented and committed Early Years Leader to cover maternity from the 24th February 2025. The successful teacher must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) as recognised by the DfE.

Safeguarding

The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the Person Specification, will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and need to supply two satisfactory references, one from their current employer. In line with KCSIE 2024 and safer recruitment practices, the school will conduct an online search for all shortlisted candidates. Wood End Primary School aims to establish strong links with the community and teach children to become contributing members of society. The school wishes for pupils to develop the self-discipline and standards of behaviour needed to become active participants in the community.
Staff organise a variety of festivals and experience days to allow children to learn about their community and other cultures. Pupils are provided with the opportunity to visit local religious sites, to raise money for those in need, to sing to the elderly and to celebrate a range of national days.
Wood End Primary School also offers a variety of cultural and sporting activities.
