Early Years Teacher (KG3)

Kampala International School Uganda (KISU) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teacher to join our dynamic team - immediate hire. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about nurturing young learners and providing them with a stimulating and engaging environment where they can thrive.

As a KG3 teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred lessons based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Foster a positive, nurturing classroom environment that promotes both academic and social development.
• Collaborate with other Early Years teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning team.
• Use a range of formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform future teaching.
• Work closely with parents, providing regular communication and feedback on student development.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, including professional development and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience teaching Early Years/Foundation Stage, preferably in an international or diverse setting.
• A deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Experience working with young children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• A commitment to providing a safe, happy, and creative learning environment.
