You should be able to teach Economics at A level and Business Studies to GCSE and A Level, following the Edexcel syllabus, and work closely with the Head of Economics and Business Studies to deliver an engaging and vibrant curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and experience teaching both subjects at the required levels, ideally in an independent or high-achieving school setting. Strong communication skills, a commitment to academic excellence, and the ability to inspire and challenge students are essential. St Mary’s School is all-through independent school for girls aged 3 -18, located in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. Established in 1872, the school provides for day pupils and its grounds feature a number of old and ornate buildings.
