Richard Huish College has a strong reputation regionally in its offer of a wide range of A level and vocational courses in Taunton and the surrounding areas in Somerset. 

We are currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated Estates Team member to join our Estates Team to assist with day to maintenance at our college. The successful candidate should be organised, enthusiastic and flexible to meet the needs of a busy college.

Duties will include carrying out general day-to-day maintenance tasks and unlocking buildings and grounds on the early shift and locking and securing buildings and grounds on the late shift. With on call duties and additional payments. 

The Estates Team work shifts on a rota of earlies, days & lates, they work 5 days a week Monday-Friday and Tuesday–Saturday once every five weeks approximately.

·        Salary: SP6 – SP7 £23,162-£23,585 plus allowances

·        Hours: 37 hours a week, all year round, shift pattern between 7am and 9.30pm. 

·        Contract: Full time, permanent

·        Start Date: September 2024

·        Closing date: 9am Tuesday 20th August

·        Interview date: wk bg 26th August

Richard Huish College is a Sixth Form College situated in Taunton, the County town of Somerset.
