Job overview
We are looking for a charismatic teacher to join our Sandmartin Campus. We are a therapeutic school, delivering a trauma informed model to pupils aged 5-16 years of age.
We have a small class of seven pupils mixed gendered aged 8-10 years old. Pupils are accessing our Merrywood Y4/5 curriculum, which follows the national curriculum with adaptions.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with pupils with additional needs and will have an understanding of behavioural management.
You will be supported by the our Assistant Head, who will be able to model our trauma informed practice and support you in getting to know the pupils.
You will be required to fulfil the duties of a teacher daily and have regular contact with our parents/families.
We have a well formed team who are always willing to support new staff members.
Our model ensures we have trauma informed practitioners who support teachers throughout the day to ensure you can provide quality teaching.
Ideally we would like a teacher full time, but would be open to alternative.
You will receive a high level of CPD and career progression.
