Brindabella Christian College is an independent, co-educational, inter-denominational all-through Christian school with two campuses located in Lyneham and Charnwood, Camberra, New South Wales. The school is affiliated with Christian Schools Australia.
Brindabella Christian College, formerly called O’Connor Christian School, was established in 1980 when it had just two teachers and 29 students. It now has about 800 students and nearly 70 members of teaching staff.

Facilities
The Brindabella Christian College Leadership and Learning Centre opened in January 2011, and incorporates what the school calls “a flexible adult learning environment”. The centre houses classrooms for the senior school along with the library and resources centre for all years.
Curriculum
The senior school is based at the Lyneham Campus, and teaches Years 9 and 10, and college Years 11 and 12. Younger students are taught on the Charnwood site.
In the senior school, the curriculum aims to reflect the “year group values” of perseverance (Year 9) and wisdom (Year 10). In the junior school (up to Year 4), parents are encouraged to assist with literacy groups, in the library, at athletics carnivals, and on excursions.
Pupils in the middle school study a range of subjects, including biblical living and health; Mandarin Chinese; visual arts; design technology; and physical education. The junior school curriculum, meanwhile, is aims to allow students to work at their individual literacy levels, with extension and assistance available when needed. Numeracy classes at the school are supported by an online programme called Mathletics, which assists students with understanding mathematical concepts.
