Job overview

Minehead First School is looking to appoint a versatile, resilient and committed Learning Support Assistant, to work alongside children with severe, profound and complex learning needs within the Early Years. In this role you will work on a one-to-one basis supporting the day-to-day learning of the children and providing any other support they may require through the day such as personal care, communication and leisure activities. The successful candidate will work alongside class teachers, assisting the children with their learning while establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs. 

Contract details: 30 hours per week, term time plus 2 inset days. This role may include some lunchtime duties.

Rate of pay: £11.79 to £11.98 per hour
