Al Maharat Private School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and dynamic GCSE Science Teacher to join our Secondary School team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the GCSE Science curriculum, creating an engaging, supportive, and challenging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Develop and deliver GCSE Science lessons that align with the curriculum standards, ensuring all students are engaged and challenged to reach their highest potential.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Design and implement assessments that accurately measure student progress and understanding. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Classroom Management: Foster a positive learning environment, utilizing effective classroom management strategies to create a safe and supportive setting for all students.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Science curriculum and share best practices. Participate in departmental and school-wide meetings, activities, and professional development opportunities.
  • Student Development: Support the individual needs of students, encouraging both academic and personal growth. Provide additional support or resources as necessary.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated with advancements in teaching methods, the GCSE curriculum, and developments in Science education. Engage in continuous professional growth to improve teaching effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role with a strong understanding of the GCSE Science curriculum.

Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of Science concepts and teaching strategies.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.

Additional Requirements:

  • Language Proficiency: Proficient in English; native or near-native level preferred.
