An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Kitchen Assistant to join our team within the North Star Community Trust. You will be supporting our catering team across various school kitchens, ensuring that our students receive nutritious and delicious meals every day.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals
  • Perform cleaning tasks in the kitchen, servery, dining hall, packed lunch hall, and other associated areas
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Interact positively with young people


Requirements:

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Good rapport with young people
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge or certification is an advantage
