Working pattern: Permanent, Full-Time

Grade: Westholme Scale Point

Reporting to: Director of Sport

Thank you for considering this role of Head of Academic PE. The Head of Academic PE will have the experience, personal qualities and dedication to lead on the teaching and management of all academic courses delivered within the PE Department and, in collaboration with the Director of Sport and the PE Department, support the delivery of the KS2, 3 & 4 PE curriculum to high standards.

The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the vast sporting co-curricular programme, which includes fixtures and training on Saturday mornings.

The extensive co-curricular provision is the cornerstone of the education ethos with over 100 clubs, activities and societies every week.

Prep pupils are wholeheartedly empowered to exceed their potential through a ground-breaking curriculum, Senior students develop 21st century skills first through an extensive holistic curriculum and in our INSPIRED Sixth Form, currently the highest achieving Sixth Form in Lancashire, students culminate their journey with incomparable 1:1 support, leadership, networking and entrepreneurial experiences.
