We are on the lookout for an exceptional individual to join our team as the Head of Boarding. If you're passionate about creating a vibrant and supportive boarding community and have a knack for motivating others, then this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and inspire boarding students and staff to excel in all aspects of their lives. Cultivate a culture of enthusiasm, positivity, and personal growth within the boarding community.
  • Oversee our innovative programs and activities that we offer to engage boarding students and enhance their boarding experience. Encourage participation in extracurricular activities, community service initiatives, and leadership opportunities.
  • Support and empower boarding staff to fulfill their roles effectively and passionately. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to help staff members thrive in their positions.
  • Foster strong relationships with boarding students, parents, and staff members. Act as a trusted mentor and advisor, offering support and guidance to individuals as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards governing boarding facilities. Uphold high standards of safety, hygiene, and student welfare at all times.
  • Promote open and transparent communication within the boarding community. Collaborate closely with academic and administrative departments to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts.
  • : Continuously assess and evaluate the effectiveness of boarding programs and initiatives. Seek feedback from stakeholders and implement improvements to enhance the overall boarding experience.

Requirements:

  • Excellent record in leadership in an educational setting .
  • Experience of working in a boarding environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and motivational with a genuine passion for working with young people.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the boarding community.

  • Term time ( 33 weeks) + 4 weeks
