Head of Geography

In Geography, their students embark on a comprehensive three-year Key Stage 3 journey. Beginning with one hour per week in Year 7, it expands to two hours in Year 8 and Year 9. Their robust geography curriculum revolves around core concepts: sustainability, human and physical interactions, physical processes, climate change, and development. They design their topics to exceed the National Curriculum standards, exploring local, national, and international levels. This foundation not only prepares students for their highly popular GCSE and A Level courses, following the AQA syllabus, but also equips them for life beyond the academy.
