The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and capable individual to the position of Head of House at St John Bosco College. The school has a vertical tutoring system and the Head of House will be responsible for the pastoral care of a group of up to 150 students in years 7-11.

Our success can be credited to our committed and dedicated staff who strive for excellence and promote high aspirations throughout the school. The successful candidate will receive a full programme of CPD and have opportunities for career development within the school. St John Bosco College is located in the heart of Battersea, a short walk from Clapham Junction station and easily accessible by road and public transport.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and Salesian ethos of St John Bosco College and be able to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school
  • Have a track record of excellence in working with young people in a teaching or pastoral role
  • Have the ability to lead, inspire, challenge and develop staff working with them to ensure the very best academic outcomes and pastoral support for the children in their care.
