At Citizens School, we believe in inspiring, empowering, and enabling every learner to thrive. As part of our Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Inclusion and Wellbeing will lead inclusivity efforts, promote well-being, and ensure all students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead inclusion practices and policies, ensuring support for Students of Determination and Gifted/Talented learners.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote student well-being across the school.
  • Adapt and differentiate the curriculum to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to foster a supportive, inclusive environment.
  • Lead the Inclusion Team, driving high standards and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Master’s in Special Education or equivalent (e.g., National SENDCo Award).
  • At least 5 years’ experience with the National Curriculum for England.
  • Proven leadership experience in inclusion, ideally in a UAE school setting.
  • Knowledge of UAE inclusion practices and KHDA Inclusion Framework.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
