We have a great opportunity for either a Head of PE or a Teacher of PE to join our inspiring and growing School. Do you have what it takes to contribute towards and continue to drive the success at Lordswood Boys’ School? Do you have the passion and commitment to deliver outstanding provision of teaching at the school? If so, this role at Lordswood Boys’ School might be the best career move you ever make.

PE is a well-established subject within a dynamic faculty that encompasses Sports, Creative, and Performance disciplines. The successful candidate will either lead or become a member of a thriving PE department, teaching students PE and Games from Year 7 to Year 11. We seek a candidate who is prepared to take on a leadership role within the PE department, or someone that is looking to become a leader in the future, someone who is committed to promoting high-quality educational experiences through both the curriculum and extracurricular activities. The PE department already has two experienced colleagues with a Director of Sport and a Director of the SCP (Sport, Creative & Performance) Faculty bringing a wealth of experience to the team. The department is thriving with an array of different sports on the curriculum including the Elite Sports Academy with both elite cricket and elite football clubs that are a thriving part of the provision that students experience. The sports facilities at the school include a first class sports hall with a brand new climbing wall, courts, fields and access to both tennis courts and a 4G pitch. These facilities mean sport as part of the curriculum and extra-curricular provision is at the centre of the fun and competition at the school.
