- Achieving a balance between their operational and strategic accountabilities.

- Excellent communication, including the ability to develop excellent relationships with all stakeholders, parents, staff and students.

- Contributing to school’s School Improvement Plan and tracking progress towards its aims.

- Developing high performing teams (admin and academic), ensuring appropriate levels of accountability.

- Providing amazing learning experiences for all students, and keeping up to date with current educational research into best practice.

- Reviewing and developing pastoral systems in the school to ensure a smooth transition between phases.

- Working with the senior and middle leadership teams to implement change inclusively and effectively, providing strong curriculum leadership and ensuring there is a high commitment to academic progress and the well-being of all students.

- As Head of School you will be responsible to promote and safeguard the welfare of all students in the school and be an advocate for the well-being of your staff.
