St Chad’s School is a successful and vibrant academy in the London Borough of Croydon in the Archdiocese of Southwark. We provide a happy, caring, pupil centred environment celebrating many different cultures. We are proud of our diverse community and enriched by it.

We are a nurturing, inclusive community where our children are at the heart of all that we do. Our dedicated staff work hard to ensure that children thrive during their time with us and that they become successful, confident learners. On behalf of our children, the academy board are looking to appoint a Headteacher who:

• is a practising Catholic committed to the purpose of Catholic education and passionate about developing the ethos of our school
• has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, inspire and motivate
• will continue to raise aspirations, standards and achievements for all our children
• has proven leadership skills and can continue to advance our high-quality teaching and learning
• is a strategic thinker who can shape a vision and develop a plan for the school to inspire our children and whole school community
• is willing to work with all stakeholders to investigate joining a Catholic Academy Trust
