This well established secondary community Academy based on the outskirts of Lincoln has made sustained progress over the last six years. Our current Headteacher has moved the Academy from a time of turbulence and underachievement to a stable, progressive learning environment predicated on strong leadership, a dedicated staff base, and a confident student body who “…..are happy at North Kesteven Academy. Always polite and respectful, they get along well with each other and enjoy great relationships with staff ” Ofsted 2024.
We seek a passionate, inspirational, and driven individual to lead our Academy onto the next stage of its journey. The push to improve the quality of teaching and learning, progress and outcomes here at NK is relentless. However we are so much more than that. A true community school, our broad and balanced curriculum is complemented by excellent facilities and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing of all our students. We need a leader who can build on the progress we have made and develop and deliver a strong strategic plan, whilst retaining the unique NK character that makes us special. We want our Headteacher to be a visible and active member of our Academy community, empower our staff to ensure they feel valued, and manage change effectively.

North Kesteven Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Lincolnshire, serving students from the age of 11-18. The Academy is situated in Lincoln.
North Kesteven Academy was founded in 1961 as a grammar school. In 2015 the Academy school was identified as good by Ofsted. It converted to academy status in 2011.
