 Term Time only 35 hours per week* plus one week

 (* plus additional deadline dependant days/hours to be advised including some evening meetings and days outside of term time)

Are you a skilled and tenacious individual ready to become the Executive Assistant to the Headteacher of our thriving secondary school?

We are seeking someone who is a highly competent, practical professional, able to demonstrate resilience, motivation and commitment to high standards of work in Assisting the Head and the wider school. As the Head's EA you will be supporting the Head directly and indirectly liaising with governors, parents, staff and third parties and being responsible for key areas such as booking CPD, maintaining training records, maintaining the SCR. You must be able to work independently on your own initiative to meet strict deadlines whilst at the same time forming effective relationships with the staff, parents and governors. 

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated attention to detail, planning and organisation. They will need to be an expert administrator and an excellent communicator (both verbally and in writing), capable of acting on their own initiative, working closely with the Headteacher to provide diligent, clear administrative guidance and support. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring that relevant areas of the School website are up to date so that all statutory documents and other information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a Headteachers Secretary/ Administrative Assistant or similar role within a school environment, however this is not essential.

 You should be proficient in word and excel, a confident and quick learner, willing to learn new skills and software and be confident in the compilation and accuracy of information.
