Hours: Monday to Friday 

Contract: Permanent; Term Time only

About the role

As Headteacher, you will promote a relentless focus on the quality of education and delivery of a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of pupils and young people along with producing positive outcomes. You will have a Degree and Teaching qualifications.

You will be leading your own outstanding school and positively influencing the lives of many young people. As part of their team, you will focus on developing self-esteem and wellbeing, as well as academic performance and development. 

Their Headteacher will be responsible for delivering the school vision and ethos, which inspires and motivates pupils, staff and all other members of the school community. This includes core educational values, moral purpose and be inclusive of all stakeholders’ beliefs and values.

Ensuring that the increasingly complex and diverse needs of the pupils are met in the most appropriate manner through the effective management of the school and its resources.

As Headteacher, you will take responsibility for the internal organisation, management and control of the school and promoting the wider role of it within the local community.

Promote the wider role of the school within the local community. Working with their Headteachers to build on the success of the group and to continue to develop the group working practices.

The school are looking to hear from SEND professionals with the ability and ambition to inspire a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outstanding learning for pupils and young people with special education needs.

They are looking for someone who knows how to bring a creative and innovative approach to improving performance and support for their pupils and their families. An excellent communicator, you will become an ambassador, as the role will include working in partnership with parents, local authorities and other stakeholders.

Essential

  • Qualified Teacher Status of Equivalent
  • Willingness to extend personal and professional development
  • Prior experience as a senior leader in an SEN school 
  • Ability to lead and provide a clear vision
