Job overview
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced HES Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, environment, and safety standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to reduce risks and improve safety performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Promote a safety culture through training, awareness programs, and regular safety meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental and safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar HES role.
- Strong knowledge of HES regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
