Goresbrook School is an exciting new school that opened in 2014. We require a Higher-Level Learning and Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with strong literacy and numeracy skills and an unwavering determination to provide children with excellent support both within and outside of the classroom. We are looking for a passionate individual with excellent interpersonal skills and high expectations to work with individual and small groups of children providing highly effective, tailored support. We want someone with the confidence, knowledge and expertise to support with the effective design and delivery of interventions. The successful candidate will also have a desire and willingness to support weekly with the cover of year group teaching staff and will relish the opportunity to hone vital teaching skills.

About you:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about improving the educational experiences of young people, our ideal candidate has strong literacy and numeracy sills and shows enthusiasm, motivation and creativity, is experienced in this role and has recent experience.

We are a 2/3 form entry school, from nursery to year 6, and are extremely proud of our team who continually work towards providing our students with the best possible learning outcomes. You will be joining us in our new school building, which has been designed to provide an environment tailored to benefit both children as well as staff (including free on-site parking!)

About Goresbrook School
