We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic colleague who shares our vision of teaching as a vocation, and who will seize an exciting opportunity to work at Rugby School. The successful candidate will act as Hm of Tudor House. Tudor House is a girls’ boarding house for approximately 50 girls, aged 13 to 18. The Hm will teach up to 24 periods per fortnight of any subject up to and including IB Higher Level and A level.
Alongside A Levels, the School is delighted to offer all students the chance to study the IB Diploma, a programme closely aligned with Rugby’s ethos of developing the whole person. Rugby is renowned for its highly successful and innovative approach to education. As a coaching school we are looking for staff who are committed to a professional obligation to improve as teachers and who value personal growth.
The School is a boarding and day school in full operation seven days per week including evenings during term time. Pastoral, co-curricular, cultural and sports activities take place outside normal day-school hours. All full-time staff are expected to make a full contribution. Family accommodation is provided within the boarding house.
