Job overview

We would like to thank you for your interest in the role of HR Business Partner at Bourne Education Trust.

To support the growth of the Trust we are seeking a HR Business Partner to work alongside the People Director providing effective professional HR support. The successful candidate must be CIPD qualified or qualified by experience and willing to study for CIPD level 5 (minimum).

The core purpose of all posts at the Trust, including that of the HR Business Partner, is to advance education for public benefit. As such, all post-holders will support the organisation to ensure that young people are able to thrive and build positive futures.

The role of BET HR professionals is to support and enable leaders across the Trust to:


  • Deliver strategic and operational priorities effectively
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment, retention and development strategies to maintain a high-quality and continually improving teaching and learning environment
  • Enable resolutions to people management challenges
  • Introduce Trust-wide initiatives and service developments which will promote engagement and wellbeing across the workforce
  • Offer training and support in HR matters to enable effective administration and to meet statutory obligations
