Job overview
At Outwood Grange Academies Trust, we are a family of schools that strive to raise standards and transform lives. We are excited to offer this opportunity to work as an Inclusion Administrator. The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the SENDCO(s), Inclusion staff and wider team to support the learning of students.
Working in our academy, you will become one of the ‘family’, and whilst we particularly welcome applicants with experience of working with children and young people, it is more important that you have a child-centred approach to working with our very special children, as a full programme of training and development will be provided for all successful candidates. You must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to manage your time effectively. Having the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times is essential. We are looking for someone with a passion for working in education and working with young people who is dedicated to building a strong relationship with all students. Our students thrive when working with colleagues who possess a good sense of humour and approachable personality; a good joke is always welcomed in the Inclusion offices.
Needless to say, you will possess excellent administrative skills, be extremely well organised, and have the ability to prioritise work and work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Having a good working knowledge of standard computer packages is essential to enable you to be able to produce appropriate correspondence and documents and to be able to update and maintain the SEN register. However, full training will be given on our academy IT systems.
We believe that all teaching and support staff posts within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of supporting student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. As such, we are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious professionals who will add value to our academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.
