Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Teaching Assistant, who is passionate about working with Students of Determination. We are looking for a candidate who is driven by personalising their approach to children’s learning and supporting students to overcome barriers so they can reach their full potential in school and beyond.
The successful candidate will be required to assist students on either an individual, small group or in-class basis. The role will involve tracking and monitoring student targets, implementing IEPs and learning profiles for Students of Determination. This dynamic and innovative individual must be keen to work as part of a successful team and support our inclusive ethos in personalising learning for our Students of Determination.
The responsibilities of the Inclusion Teaching Assistant will include the following:
- To plan, prepare and deliver personalised provision and interventions.
- To work alongside class teachers to support and enhance the inclusive learning experience for students in their class.
- To identify and set targets to enable learners to maximise their progress.
- To support in class as required to ensure the implementation of strategies to support students.
- To review student data in order to effectively adjust support in response to learning needs.
- To undertake administration, including updating and maintaining records of students’ progress.
- To support students with social, emotional and communication difficulties.
Education and Experience
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English.
- Experience working with students who have special educational needs.
- Recent professional development in SEND/Inclusion.
- Confidence in using assistive technology to maximise the student's learning experience.
- High School Equivalent.

- Once initial interviews are concluded, arrangements will be made individually with those candidates who will proceed to the second round of interviews.
