Joint Head of PE - maternity cover

We are seeking an experienced and committed educator to join our team as a Joint Head of Department on a fixed term to cover a maternity leaver. This unique role involves co-leading a dedicated team of teachers, overseeing curriculum development, and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning within the department. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with their counterpart to drive innovation and excellence in the department. You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional, an excellent classroom practitioner and have proven leadership skills.  This is an exciting role for the successful candidate as we opened our sixth form in September 2023 and we are now preparing our first sixth form student cohort for their A level exams. We are therefore seeking to employ a teacher with drive and imagination who has seen several cohorts through their formal exams. The successful candidate will be fully supported both within the department and by the Senior Leadership Team.
