In order to ensure the school is able to provide an effective and efficient catering service we are seeking to appoint a hardworking, committed and enthusiastic candidate to join our catering team.

Working effectively, alongside other members of the team. Your role will mainly be working in the general kitchen and on the pasta bar. Duties will centre around washing up by hand and with machine, general cleaning of equipment, floors, and surfaces. Pasta bar duties will be serving meals and operating a till.

As you will be working as part of the catering team, there may be some preparation of foods and serving of healthy nutritious meals. At times this will involve the use of the tills when serving students. Complying with stock rotation procedures and refilling and replacing consumables and general cleaning duties will also be part of the role.

Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential. A willingness to be flexible in your approach, acting with integrity and having the ability to carry out all duties in line with school expectations and health and safety guidelines are all qualities which are essential. All staff are expected to act as effective role models and be prepared to demonstrate the school core values and be able to support students in an appropriate and professional manner in order to ensure all users have a positive experience when using the catering facilities at the school.

Hours of work will be.

Monday – Wednesday – 11.45am-2.30pm

Thursday – 11.45am-2.00pm

Friday – 11.45am-1.55pm
