Job overview

The Primary School:

Charter International School, a well-established and fully accredited international school in Bangkok, Thailand, offers a dynamic Primary School programme that integrates the globally recognised International Primary Curriculum (IPC) with elements of the English National Curriculum. Through rigorous teaching and meaningful, engaging experiences, our innovative approach inspires imagination and curiosity while building core academic knowledge, skills, and understanding. Our programme is designed to cultivate international-mindedness and nurture a lifelong love of learning in every student.

The school is located in a spacious purpose-built campus with a wide range of good facilities only a short distance from the centre of Bangkok, which is one of the most exciting and culturally rich world capitals in which to live and a perfect hub from which to explore Thailand and South East Asia.

Our school is an international community with over 30 nationalities represented and we aim for our students to thrive not only academically, but in all areas of their lives in line with our school's guiding statements.

The Role:

We are seeking a qualified, knowledgeable and passionate primary teacher with experience in the English National Curriculum and, ideally, the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). The successful candidate will be an exceptional classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices and their application in fostering high-quality teaching and learning. They must be fully committed to ongoing professional development, actively seeking opportunities to refine their skills and remain up to date with the latest advancements in education.

In addition, the ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, enabling them to build positive relationships with colleagues, students, and parents. They will be well-organised, have a good sense of humour, and demonstrate a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school community.

In addition, there is the possibility for the right candidate, of one of these roles being combined with the post of English co-ordinator across the Priamry School.

If you are a dedicated professional committed to making a positive impact on the development of young people, we would love to hear from you. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their applications promptly as we may begin the selection process before the closing date. Please note that only completed Charter International School application forms submitted via TES will be considered for shortlisting.

Charter prides itself on being an Equal opportunities school and welcomes applications from any suitably qualified candidate who is willing to make an outstanding contribution to the school.
