What does the role involve?
In this role you will support children with SEND in their educational, emotional and social development; working alongside the class teacher, SENDCO and other colleagues to help children reach their full potential. As a Learning Coach, you will support the learning of groups or individual children during lessons, following guidance from the class teacher and SENDCO.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an excellent practitioner who demonstrates patience in a range of situations, who can communicate effectively verbally and in writing and who can work collaboratively and reliably as part of a team. Experience of working with Early Years/ Primary age children would be beneficial, in addition to knowledge of how children learn including those with Special Educational Needs (SEND). The ability to ‘think of your feet’ is welcomed as flexibility is key to successful working with all stakeholders. We are ideally looking for a Learning Coach who is enthusiastic, passionate, and keen to support excellent educational outcomes for all our pupils, whatever their needs.
