Salmons Brook School is a specialist SEMH school for young people aged 11 – 19. We have 70 places for young people and we are opening in September 2022 for 40 young people in Year 7 – 10. Salmons Brook School are seeking to employ a Learning Support Assistant to join our staff team. Learning Support Assistants at Salmons Brook School will support our young people throughout the school day across both academic and social and emotional interventions and lessons.
We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals with a desire to make a difference in the lives of young people and who have a genuine desire to improve the quality-of-life for our community.
Salmons Brook School offer a thorough training programme for all our staff.
Salmons Brook School is a unique school community and so we are looking for someone who will compliment the existing staff team and who can work collaboratively with our students, families and staff to make an impact.
This role would include sole working with young people as well as working as part of a team.
All roles at Salmons Brook require staff to undertake Team Teach positive behaviour handling training.
Hours: 36 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum (pro rata)
Actual Salary Range: £25,967 to £27,415 p.a. inc (Scale 4)
