Job overview

‘CAT employs rolling recruitment methodologies, with shortlisting and interviews for some roles taking place as and when applications are received. This may mean that some roles are recruited to before the closing date, and therefore advise that applications are made without undue delay’

Marshfield has undergone rapid improvement over recent years to become one of the country’s highest performing primary schools, ranking 22nd out of nearly 21000 schools in the 2019 KS2 SATS. This has led the school to be featured in the Sunday Times Parent Power lists and is one of the very small number of primary schools to be awarded World Class School Status by the World Class Schools Quality Mark.

The school has just over 470 students and is situated in a vibrant community serving a diverse demographic of children close to the centre of Bradford. Marshfield utilises a bespoke curriculum designed to create an enquiry-based approach to learning, with inspiring and culturally relevant teaching sequences led by teachers who are passionate in providing an outstanding primary education.

Marshfield is a ‘Nurturing School’, being the first primary school within the city to achieve this national award, in recognition of our continued emphasis on supporting the well-being and mental health of all staff, students, and families.

We are seeking to recruit a hardworking and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our dynamic school team. The Learning Support Assistant will ensure that the needs of our pupils are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the impact that good teaching can have on the lives of children and young people.

Our school can offer:

  • A highly supportive and caring community
  • Friendly and enthusiastic children who are eager to learn
  • A vibrant, fun and lively learning environment
  • A strong commitment to supporting your further professional development
  • Opportunities to work with practitioners within the school as well as with our collaborated school
