About the Role

City of London Academies Trust (COLAT) is seeking to appoint a Midday Meals Supervisor starting in September  2024. You work pro-actively with the students, teachers, heads of department and the wider support team to supervise students at lunchtimes and in other areas around the school (entrance/exit to lunch hall and by the toilet doors). The working hours each day will be from 12.00pm - 1.30pm. You must have experience of working with and supervising children in a similar school based position. You must have strong behaviour management skills. You will have good communication skills and be able to relate to young children from different cultural and social backgrounds. You must also be willing to undertake initial and further training.

About you

You should have worked in a similar role in a primary or secondary school or similar environment. You will have the ability to build effective relationships with students and deal with unexpected situations during the school day.  Excellent communication skills both oral and written are an essential part of the role to be able to deal with staff, students, parents and external agencies.
