We are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly, hardworking team at St Peter's CofE First School, Williton. We are a growing Trust of Schools and Nurseries located across West Somerset and we will be merging with Bath and Wells MAT in Autumn 2024.


Midday Supervisor:

Hours: 6 hours 15 minutes Monday to Friday (11:45 am until 1:00 pm) term time plus 2 INSET days

Contract type: Permanent

Start date: September/October2024

Reporting to: Headteacher 


You will be responsible for the following:

• Supporting children in the early years foundation stage play during lunchtime,

• Keeping the hall/classroom clean and tidy,

• Supervising the children during lunchtime,

• Administering First Aid, and other responsibilities as per Job Description.


The successful candidate will need to be positive role models with high expectations of the children in their care. Our pupils are at the centre of everything we do and when we were inspected by Ofsted in April 2024, not only did we receive a ‘good’ grade, but they commented on our focus on inclusion and an innovative approach. We can offer a welcoming team of staff who all care about the school and providing the best possible learning environment for the children.


We are a Church of England school and achieved a J1 judgement at our last SIAMs inspection (April 2024). The school is an integral part of the village of Williton and we have strong community links with the village and the church.
