Term Time plus 3 weeks (includes 5 INSET Days)

 

37 hours per week Monday to Friday (8 – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8-3.30pm Friday)

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and forward thinking Administrator as part of the Data and Inclusion support team who is a motivated and independent person with attention to detailed work to provide administrative support to the Information Systems Manager (MIS) and Vice Principals. He / she will be responsible for supporting the MIS Manager, Vice Principal (Inclusion and Behaviour) and Assistant Principal (Behaviour) in the input and management of data on Arbor/Class Charts or other information systems, the documentation for suspensions and permanent exclusions, as well as providing detailed reports to key middle leaders and members of the Senior Leadership Team.


We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive person who can work with a team of personnel, staff, students and their families in order to ensure the accuracy of data and information within the Academy and to ensure the most effective and efficient use of resources in support of the Academy’s learning objectives. 


The role of this appointment will be as per the attached job description/person specification. Applicants are invited from individuals who have experience in administration duties and working with students, parents and key staff within the school. The successful candidate should:

  • have at least 5 GCSEs including English, Maths
  • have a high level of IT skills, knowledge and abilities and have knowledge and experience of technology and ideally schools MIS systems
  • have some experience of working with students in a school in particular
  • be able to work independently and manage own time to arrive on time
  • have the ability to motivate, inspire and go the extra mile for our students, staff and parents
  • be positive, enthusiastic and resilient
  • be an effective team member
  • have a clear understanding of supporting teaching and learning as a support member of staff
  • have highly developed inter – personal skills, communication and excellent ICT skills
  • be able to work effectively with students, staff and parents,
  • have a clear understanding of the importance of Safeguarding and equal opportunities including on-line safety and GDPR
  • meet the job specification criteria
