Loyola Preparatory School is a successful, warm and friendly all boy’s Catholic school based in Buckhurst Hill, Essex. We are seeking to appoint a friendly part-time Music & Movement practitioner either on a self-employed or employed basis to join our existing early years team, based at the school premises.

The successful practitioner will deliver activities for children aged 3 to 5 years that combine music with physical movement. This includes singing, dancing, playing instruments and moving to the beat/rhythm patterns. These musical movement sessions will inspire children to be enthusiastic about music, enabling them to be relaxed and expressive, by fitting their movements to the music they hear.

We are looking for someone who:

·       Has experience and skills in child based musical movement

·       Is enthusiastic in working with early years children

·       Has a positive outlook and promotes well-being

·       Can monitor and provide feedback via end-of-term reports

·       Can commit to the school’s Catholic ethos

In return we can offer:

·       A friendly and caring working environment

·       A dedicated space for musical movement

·       Flexibility on day/timings/hours

Interested candidates would be very welcome to visit the school, experiencing first-hand its distinctive atmosphere and friendliness. For an application form or to arrange a visit, please contact the school office on  020 8504 7372 or email bursar@loyolaprepschool.co.uk
