Rugby School are looking to appoint Netball coaches on casual hours.

 

Netball is a popular sport at Rugby School. Over 300 girls play Netball each year from ages 13 to 18. We attend national cup competitions. We cater for 20 teams throughout the year and regularly train after school.

 

We want a coach(s) to join the netball coaching team at Rugby School. They will work with all age groups to ensure that participation rates are maintained, and our A teams to support their journey in to county and regional competitions. Experienced coaches will also be asked to work with our pathway players with their individual programs.

We pride ourselves on offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a vastly experienced department, alongside regular training in sports coaching, match analysis, research and guiding aspiring athletes into the world of professional sports via our links with professional sports organisations.

 

The hours can be flexible throughout Oct through to June with mainly after 16:30pm sessions from Oct to Dec and Apr to June alongside daytime hours (Tues/Thurs/Sat) available from Jan - Mar. We will appoint coaches who are also able to take a team on a Saturday for a fixture, at home or away. The salary is based on qualification and experience. They must have a minimum level 2 qualification in sports coaching (and have experience of working with young athletes within a netball coaching environment.
