St Edward's Oxford is looking for two experienced Netball Coaches to support the delivery of our senior and junior Netball Programmes.
As a Netball Coach, you will deliver enthusiastic and inspiring coaching to students of varying abilities and ages, from beginners to performance level. You will deliver a minimum of two coaching sessions and will umpire at least one fixture every week, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with the School’s Health & Safety and Child Protection policies.
You will need an extensive knowledge of technical and tactical strategies in netball coaching, along with previous experience of coaching a range of abilities and ages. Previous experience of playing netball to a high standard is essential, along with previous experience of group coaching. A UKCC or England Netball umpiring qualification is desirable but not essential.
Both coaching positions are part-time, fixed-term roles until the 28th March 2025. We are looking for one Coach to begin as soon as possible and the other to begin in January 2025.
Netball at St Edward's Oxford
Netball is one of the major sports for girls during the Spring Term, with pre-season training taking place throughout the Autumn Term. The Netball Club caters for pupils who wish to play for both performance and participation and is available to all year groups in the School. There are currently 16 competitive and two participation netball teams in the club. We have access to four outdoor netball courts and one indoor court.
