Nursery Chef

Dean Close Little Trees Nursery Celtic Springs, Newport are looking to recruit a qualified cook to join our friendly team.

You will either have experience of cooking for large groups of people or have gained a qualification in catering.

3. Do you thrive on sharing your delicious and nutritious dishes with those around you?

Duties will include:

• Organise, cook and prepare a healthy balanced snacks, midday hot lunch & afternoon tea for children aged 3 months -4 years
• To hold a Food Hygiene Level 2
• Ordering of all food provisions
• Keep accurate records of supplies and order replacements as needed within the nursery budget requirements.
• Keep the kitchen a clean and safe environment for the children in our care
• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and food hygiene
• Take responsibility to make sure all dietary requirements are catered for and clearly communicated to teams.

*Full time hours can be flexible to suit you, eg 8-4.30pm with 30 minutes lunch break, however our Nursery is only open Monday-Friday. Happy to discuss during interview.
