Job overview
As Nursery Manager you will have significant experience of working as part of a team, making a valuable contribution to the excellent teamwork already in place, in an outstanding nursery. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part a leadership team for our thriving nursery and EYFS department. Main Responsibility:
- To ensure that the provision is of the highest quality; providing a safe, stimulating and caring child-centered environment catering for the children’s educational and developmental needs.
- To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery, including monitoring, evaluating and developing the provision.
- The Phase Leader is responsible for the provision across EYFS and you will lead the EYFS staff team, ensuring that they encapsulate the schools aims and ethos.
- You will be actively involved in the day to day delivery of high quality learning through play within the classroom, be a key person and act as a role model for the nursery team.
- A conscientious, enthusiastic and hard-working practitioner would be suited to this role.
- In addition, as Early Years Phase Leader you will have a vision for the phase and its role in education which will build on our tradition of excellence and forward-thinking practice. You will demonstrate commitment to the role and have a clear view for the future. You will have the personality and drive to instill in others, nursery practitioners and pupils, a love for learning and an appreciation of its place in the school.
