We are looking for a highly motivated Nursery Practitioner who can join our dedicated team to help provide an excellent Nursery Provision.

We have amazing grounds and a wonderful staff team. Our children are a joy to work with and they bring energy and challenge to enable you to further develop your skills. They deserve to be given a provision which will allow them to flourish and be prepared for their future.

Interviews: When we find the right candidate

Starting salary: Grade 16 Point 2 (£22,366 FTE) - Grade 14 Point 6 (£23,893 FTE) or £6.40 per hour if on the apprenticeship route

Start Date: 1st September 2024

Location: Taunton

Hours: Up to 4 days per week. All Year Round.

Contract: Permanent

Huish Nurseries provide high quality care and education for children aged 2-4, open 49 weeks of the year from 8am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. 

 The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a Level 3 qualification in early years or be willing to work towards
  • Have successfully worked with children
  • Be committed to contributing to help each child achieve their best
  • Be skilled, adaptable and flexible and an excellent team player
  • Have appropriate communication skills
  •  Have the ability to use their initiative
  • Actively contribute to the wider school team
  • Be calm, resilient, caring and want every child to succeed

Thank you for showing an interest in our school.  I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher of Lyngford Park Primary which is a thriving primary school in Taunton, the County Town of Somerset. We are a good school and on a journey to further improve.
