Job overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Design & Technology (DT) Teacher with a specialism in Product Design to join our team on a part-time basis (0.62 FTE) for maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring DT lessons, focusing on Product Design to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Prepare students for assessments and coursework in accordance with the curriculum.
- Ensure a safe and productive learning environment within the workshop and classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider DT curriculum and school activities.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Have experience teaching DT, particularly Product Design
- Be passionate about fostering creativity, innovation, and practical skills in students.
- Be adaptable, reliable, and able to start as soon as possible.
